St. Johns County, in cooperation with its contractor, the St. Johns County Council on Aging, Inc. has completed its ten-year Transit Development Plan (TDP) major update. This major update will cover years 2017 through 2026. Each transit agency in Florida that receives state transit block grant funding is required to prepare a TDP to ensure that the provision of public transportation service is consistent with the travel needs and mobility goals of the local communities served by the transit system. By establishing a strategic focus and mission, the TDP can guide the transit system’s future development to meet the needs of the community.
