Find something for everyone! You don't have to look too hard to find a wealth of ways to enjoy St. Johns County Parks and Recreation. Bring your four-legged friend to spend the day at one of our dog parks, horseback ride at our Equestrian Center, skateboard a half pipe, play a game of disc golf at the fairgrounds, or go geocaching in one of the many beautiful parks.
Beluthahatchee Park – 1523 State Road 13, Fruit Cove (Map)
Home to the Stetson Kennedy Home and Museum, the only National Literary Landmark honoring 2 writers, Stetson Kennedy and Woody Guthrie. The four acre park is home to ospreys, eagles, snowy egrets, tri-colored heron, white ibis, little blue heron, wood storks, wood ducks, anhingas, and many other species.
Disc Golf at St. Johns County Fairgrounds – 5840 S.R. 207, Elkton (Map)
Over 90 acres of land surrounded by a beautiful forest-lined exterior, the facility boasts a twenty-five hole course to challenge the disc golfer in the family.
Equestrian Center – 8200 Smith Rd, Hastings (Map)
20 acre equestrian facility with 48 concrete block stalls, riding arenas, and Community Center. A playscape and picnic shelter are also available. The community center has a warming kitchen and banquet area available to rent for activities such as birthday parties, family reunions and meetings.
Robert-Laryn Skate Park – In Treaty Park, 1595 Wildwood Dr, St. Augustine (Map)
With 28,000 square feet of concrete, there is plenty of room for skateboarders of all ages and abilities. We have ½ pipes, rails, ledges, banks and a 9 and half foot (6 foot shallow end) kidney shaped pool to challenge even the most experienced skater. Check us out on Facebook and Instagram
Bring your furry friend to Paws Dog Park and give them a chance to experience Dog Life! They can run, play, jump, and enjoy life leash free while socializing with other dogs at the park.
