Facility Overview

Trout Creek Park is a 16.5 acre passive park open free of charge to all visitors. The site features a double boat ramp with handy access to Trout Creek and the St. Johns River. An accessible boardwalk borders the canal and ramps. A half-mile nature trail meanders along the inside perimeter of the park. A small outdoor amphitheater provides an ideal location for small classes and lectures.

A covered picnic area complete with tables and grill is located adjacent to the playscape and close to the entrance to the park. Restrooms are located adjacent to the parking lot near the Community Center. An additional covered picnic area, grill and tables are located at the bottom of the park.

The Community Center, complete with catering kitchen and screened patio; is available to rent, separately; for group meetings and social activities except on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the day when it is used by the Council On Aging as a lunch site.

A County Naturalist's office is maintained at Trout Creek Park. Activities at Trout Creek and other parks may be scheduled for school trips, home school groups, Scouts, 4-H and other youth or adult groups. Park Naturalist Programs are free and open to the public. Call to schedule activities.
