Geographic Information Systems

New! GIS Data is now available online. Download over 80 data layers in shapefile format from the GIS Data Depot.

Welcome! The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Division is responsible for the creation, collection and management of location-based information pertaining to St. Johns County, Florida.

There are currently over 36 Gigabytes of geographically referenced information maintained by the GIS Division. Examples of this information include: Commissioner Districts, School locations, Road Centerlines, Fire and EMS Zones, Beach Access Points, Digital Orthophotography, and Municipal Boundaries.

From this information, the GIS Division is able to generate customized maps, perform complex analyses and develop applications that allow the end user to make better informed decisions. For additional information regarding GIS, please visit www.gis.com.

You can now view an area of interest within St. Johns County using the interactive GIS mapping application from the convenience of your own personal computer. Using the display tools, you can search for an address or a parcel number, view property information, zoom into an area, turn on/off map layers, and print your own maps. (NOTE: The volume of data and Aerial Photography available on this site may cause the viewer to load slowly.)
