River-To-Sea Loop Public Workshop
St. Johns County Public Works is hosting a public workshop regarding the St. Johns River-to-Sea (SJR2C) Loop multi-use trail on October 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Solomon Calhoun Center, 1300 Duval Street. The purpose is to provide an overall project update since the previous public meeting in July and present the preferred multi-use trail alignment. Information presented will include history of the SJR2C, findings of the Existing Conditions Report, review of community surveys and public input and potential next steps for the project. The proposed trail alignment areas include St. Johns County, City of St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach. The proposed trail in St. Johns County, once constructed, will be part of the overall SJR2C trail system located within five County jurisdictions including Putnam, St. Johns, Flagler, Volusia and Brevard. The planning study phase is being coordinated by SJC Public Works and funded by FDOT. For more information on the St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop multi-use trail, or to provide input if you are unable attend the workshop, please contact Rodney Cooper at 904-209-0111 or email@example.com.
