Beach Use Permits – Commercial Fishing

Hurricane Matthew Announcements

St. Johns County is Recovering from Hurricane Matthew

  • Excessive debris can be hazardous to vehicle driving; FEMA Debris removal crews are using heavy-earth-moving equipment to clear the North and South Beaches.
  • Porpoise Point is accessible by combination lock exclusively for commercial fishing access; it’s uncertain as to when the South Beaches will reopen, as they were hardest hit by the storm.
  • We encourage you to review the Beach Access Updates website, or call Jade O'Neill at (904) 209-0619.
