County Commissioner Invitations

From time to time the St. Johns County Commissioners receive invitations to attend various events.  On occasion, more than one County Commissioner may attend and participate at the event.

December

The St. Johns County Commissioners will be attending an annual Ethics Training on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 beginning at 8:00 a.m. The event will take place at the Administration Building, County Attorney’s Office, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, Florida. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this training event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend the 16th Annual Community Chanukah Celebration and Menorah Lighting beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23rd, 2019. The event will take place at Watson Realty in Ponte Vedra. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend the St. Augustine High Chorus Christmas performance on Friday December 13, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The event will take place at Richard O. Watson Judicial Center, Annex, 4010 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, Florida. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend the St. Augustine High Chorus Christmas performance on Friday December 13, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The event will take place at Richard O. Watson Judicial Center, Annex, 4010 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine, Florida. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend two St. Johns County Fire Rescue Master Plan meetings set as follows:

  • Tuesday, December 10, 2019 beginning at 6 p.m.  This event will take place at the Nocatee Community Clubhouse, 245 Nocatee Center Way, Ponte Vedra, Florida.
  • Wednesday, December 11, 2019 beginning at 6 p.m. This event will take place at the SJC Fire Rescue Station 5, 3360 US 1 South, St. Augustine, Florida.

It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend K9S for Warriors Holiday Party on Friday, December 13, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The event will take place at the 114 Camp K9 Road, Ponte Vedra, Florida. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend the St. Johns County Players Club Water Reclamation Facility Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, on Thursday, December 12, 2019 beginning at 11:30 a.m. The event will take place at 555 Dyes Valley Road, Ponte Vedra, Florida. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend the 2019 Northeast Florida Elected Officials Luncheon and Regional Awards. The event is scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2019 beginning at 12:00 p.m. (Noon). The event will take place at 100 Festival Park Ave., Jacksonville, Florida. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend the Foundation Concept Meetings. The events are scheduled as follows:

  • Wednesday, December 11, 2019 beginning at 2:00 p.m. The event topic will be Developing a Foundation – Business and Government Officials. This event will take place at St. Johns County Administration Building, County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, Florida;
  • Thursday, December 12, 2019 beginning at 8:00 a.m. The event topic will be Developing a Foundation – Staff and Advisory Board. This event will take place at the St. Johns County Human and Health Services Building, 200 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, Florida; and
  • Thursday, December 12, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. The event topic will be Fees and Charges for Recreation – Staff and Advisory Board Fees. This event will take place at the St. Johns County Human and Health Services Building, 200 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, Florida.

It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

January

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend the National Holiday honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 20th, 2020 beginning at 7:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Mark W. Lance Armory, 190 San Marco Avenue, St. Augustine, Florida. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.

The St. Johns County Commissioners have been invited to attend the Tri-County Water School two day event. The first day event is scheduled for Thursday, January 16, 2020 beginning at 8:30 a.m.. The event will take place at the City of Palm Coast Wastewater Treatment Facility, Palm Coast, Florida. The second day event is scheduled for Thursday, January 30, 2020 beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place at the UF/IFAS Extension St. Johns County Office and Masters Tract, 3125 Agriculture Center Dr., St. Augustine, Florida. It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioner may attend and participate at this event.
