UNDERGROUND UTILITY TECH I - UTILITIES
St. Johns County Utility Department seeks an Underground Utility Technician to assist in the installation and repairing of all underground water and sewer lines. Digs and prepares holes for making taps and repairs. Assists in making service connections. Repairs broken water and sewer lines. Vacuum grease and grit from manholes. Assist with utility locates. TV inspection of sewer lines. Maintains equipment. Performs general janitorial and yard duties at maintenance facility. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a valid class ?E? driver?s license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to operate wellpoint machine, cut-off saw, mower, mug hog pump, pipe and hand wrenches, shovel, rake and various hand tools.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY EXAMINER - BUILDING
The St. Johns County Building Department seeks a qualified Energy Efficiency Examiner. This position is to fulfill the requirements of a Grant Funded agreement and is limited to a 2 Year Term. To be responsible for implementing Energy Efficiency Technical Assistance and Training Workshops to the building community and property owners, to implement the Building Departments Training Workshops and Technical Assistance per the Florida Energy and Climate Commission Grant Agreement No. ARE025. Provide 90 training workshops for residents and building professionals covering energy efficiency and conservation issues in the agriculture, commercial building, industrial, and institutional sectors. Develop the workshop materials, including presentations and handouts. Develop and implement a feedback system to integrate new concepts and information into the workshops. Track the announcement and advertising of training workshops to both residents and building professionals. Document and receive feedback from the attendees and incorporate appropriate feedback into future workshops. Answer questions from residents and building professions and provide technical assistance. For each of the 90 workshops, prepare a monthly report including copies of workshop advertisement, a sign-in sheet signed by attendees and the instructor, materials provided to attendees, and copies of any presentation materials. The report will also include attendee feedback and the County?s strategy to implement feedback into future workshops as well as technical assistance provided. Full time presence on the job. Must possess a Bachelors Degree in an energy related discipline, business administration, or similar fields with a minimum of five (5) years experience, or a Masters degree in one of the above fields with two (2) years experience, or 10 years construction related experience and possess all other knowledge, skills, and abilities listed. Must possess a valid certification/license for: State of Florida licensed architect, engineer, inspector, plans examiner or contractor. Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Florida Energy Code and/or ICC International Green Construction Code. Must possess current LEED AP certification. Must have the knowledge of scientific data collection and analytical techniques, familiarity with database programs and related computer applications, and practical experience preparing presentations for various groups. Must have the ability to develop and manage multi-faceted programs, working independently. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, along with experience in presenting technical information to groups.

SYSTEMS ANALYST III - STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
The State Attorney?s Office seeks a System Analyst III to analyze current and potential Business Systems. To provide system recommendations based upon agency requirements and hardware. Design, develop, implement and maintain computer software applications. Fine tune systems for efficient software/hardware compatibility. Create reporting modules for business systems. Develop and maintain documentation for computer software applications. Train staff and end users on computer software applications. Assist other computer software developers in sound programming techniques and development tools. Full time presence on the job is required. Must have a four year college degree in Computer Science or related field. Work experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis. Minimum 10 years experience in application development and/or systems analysis. Broad experience in Client/Server based applications. Microsoft Visual Basic and JAVA. Report Writer experience a must. Heavy real world SQL experience. Heavy experience in Imaging and Scanning Technologies. XML, TCP/IP and Electronic Data Exchange experience a plus. Ability to operate various computer software tools associated with computer software programming. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver license. Must be able to comprehend, speak, and write the English language.

Juvenile Drug Court Program Specialist - COURT ADMINISTRATION
The St. Johns County Court Administration Office seeks a qualified candidate to fill the position of Juvenile Drug Court Program Specialist. The purpose of this position is to assist the Drug Court Coordinator with the day to day operations of the St. Johns County Juvenile Drug Court Program. To assist in the coordination of the program?s intake process. Compiles and completes accurate, written, timely one-page progress reports. Participates in program related meetings. Assists in the maintenance of the program?s manual and handbook. Assists in the education of the team concerning the program?s design, policies and procedures. Assists in the identification of drug court related training opportunities to include cross training. Assists in the maintenance of program related statistics. Assist with program related administrative functions (grants, budgets, etc.).Work closely with treatment providers concerning program related issues. Assists Juvenile Probation Officer (JPO) in participant supervision. Conducts and documents office, telephone and field contacts, as well as maintain demographic. Information and active case files, of participants and their families. Full time presence on the job. Bachelor?s degree in criminal justice, business administration, social sciences or related discipline required. Related experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis. Knowledge concerning the operations of court administration, juvenile justice, and substance abuse. Skilled in multiple levels of communicating, both written and verbal. Ability to build consensus among team members and to organize multiple complex tasks. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver license.
